Teachers from the Education Inspiration program finished their training
35 engaged teachers from small towns from across the country met on January 11th and 12th in the Jabłonna Palace near Warsaw. They spent two days getting to know each other, sharing experiences and inspiring one another. On the first day, participants worked on an educational project, using a workshop method format; the second day was dedicated to a discussion on how to increase educational opportunities. Together with the program expert, Elżbieta Tołwińska-Królikowska, they looked for valuable ideas on how to carry out classes and projects in a way that allows for the decrease of social divisions and educational gaps between students. The training also included a presentation given by the “Zwolnieni z Teorii” platform representatives, who spoke about their experiences in working with young people on social projects. Rafał Flis – the founder and VP of “Zwolnieni z Teorii”, pointed out the skills and benefits which students take away from independent project work. Participants said they are leaving the training with energy and motivation but also tools and ideas they will use in their everyday work with students. The EFC Foundation prepared and carried out the training together with the program co-organizer, the School with Class Foundation.
