Champions' Dinner

The Champions' Dinner has a long tradition at the EFC Foundation. The event wraps up the ten-day summer vacation for the Foundation's scholars. It's a unique chance to broaden the horizons of our students, to get to know each other better and to look for inspiration for the future together with our special guests. Throughout the evening, the scholars have the opportunity to meet exceptional scientists, artists, businessmen and sportsmen. The "champions" share their knowledge and vast experience, encourage to live an active life and plan a balanced career. The Champions' Dinner, according to tradition, is hosted by representatives of the EFC Alumni Association - graduates of the Horizons Scholarship Program.

In 2019 in Olsztyn, we had the honor of inviting equally fantastic guests, such as awarded screenwriter and director Piotr Domalewski, writer Anna Cieplak, artist Marta Frej or doctors and scientists, among which we welcomed dr Joanna Bagniewska and dr Jan Chwedeńczuk. Up til now, we also had the pleasure of meeting Robert Biedroń, writer Natalia Fiedorczuk-Cieślak, photographer Chris Niedenthal, singer and film director Maria Sadowska, polar explorer Marek Kamiński and many more.

EFC Fame

Each year, as part of the Horizons Scholarship Program, we organize the EFC Fame. The contest honors two of our most socially and scientifically active scholars. Winners are chosen by other participants of the program through an online form at the end of June. Between the 1st and 12th of July, we present the scholars who were chosen for the contest on our Facebook fanpage and we launch our online voting platform.

The head of the Governing Council, together with a member of the Foundation's Program Committee, taking the results of the vote under consideration, decide which scholar deserves the EFC Fame title. The awards go to the scholars at the Champions' Dinner during the EFC vacation.
