EFC becomes partner of the Irena Sendlerowa Prize

The Roman Czernecki EFC Educational Foundation had the honour of co-funding this year’s Irena Sendlerowa Award “for fixing the world”, which is given to educators who teach in the spirit of dialogue, tolerance and respect for others.
The program is organized by the Civil Education Centre along with the Children of the Holocaust Association.

This year, the award was given to Jerzy Hamerski and Elżbieta Drygas from Poznań, the creators of Łejery School and Theatre – an original school and theatre with its own program, designed to educate and teach respect to art. The school, along with the help of the Nasze Łejery Foundation, collects funds for building an educational facility in Tanzania, takes care of orphans in Madagascar and organizes numerous charity events. Congratulations to the winners - we are very proud to be able to support this great initiative!
