Apply for the fifth edition of the ‘Education Inspiration’ Program

Together with the School with Class Foundation we invite you to take part in the fifth edition of the Education Inspiration Program - in a refreshed version this school year. Read the details on the two-stage recruitment and fill in the application form.

Remote learning has been a huge challenge over the last several months. It has shown how varied the opportunities for development are and how many barriers may appear in everyday education. And this is true for both the board of education and the pupils. We are convinced that every child, regardless of where they were born, should have equal educational opportunities. Every child has potential and talent, and wise, attentive and inspiring teachers can play a special role in discovering them.

That is why, for the fifth time now, we are starting recruitment for the Education Inspiration Program. It is a program in which we award grants to primary school teachers for the implementation of their original educational projects. In the program we want to appreciate male and female teachers and strengthen their professional development. We believe that they know their pupils and their needs best, which is why we leave them freedom to choose the topic of the project and space to implement their own vision. We want the proposed activities to engage children and youth at every stage, to discover and develop their potential and interests.

Our offer is addressed to female and male teachers of public primary schools in towns with population below 30 thousand inhabitants, working with male and female students in grades 4-8. The amount of grant for activities in the school year 2021/2022 is up to PLN 3 500.

Recruitment is carried out in two stages. The first stage will last from 18 August until the first 300 applications are received, but no longer than until 26 September 2021. To submit your idea for an educational project, please fill in the online form for stage I of the recruitment.

APPLICATION FORM

The submission of your educational project idea is made by the teacher or teacher who, if funded, will be responsible for its implementation. In the form for stage I, he or she describes in a few short questions the idea for the project, his or her experience in working with this method, etc. In the first stage of recruitment we want to get to know the initial concept of the project. We do not want to get to know the fully planned activities yet - they will be described only in stage II of the recruitment.

Applications from the first stage of recruitment, which meet formal requirements and substantive criteria, will be evaluated by representatives of the EFC Foundation and the School with Class Foundation. From among all applications, 80 will be selected to move on to the next stage of recruitment. The results of the first stage will be announced no later than 1 October.

To find out more about the program and recruitment, we invite you to take part in the webinar Education Inspiration: how to get a grant for a project, which will take place on 25 August at 18:00 on the Facebook profiles of the EFC Foundation and the School with Class Foundation. During the webinar, we will meet Mirosław Skrzypczyk, a member of the Committee of Experts evaluating applications, and Anna Broda, a teacher who participated in the 3rd and 4th edition of the program. We will talk to them about why it is worth working with the educational project method and what to pay attention to when submitting a project idea. Details of the webinar can be found at this link.

More information about the two stages of recruitment, the rules for awarding funding, the criteria for assessing applications and the Rules of Procedure of the programme can be found on its website.

We look forward to receiving your applications!
